Another respectable known Japanese helmet brand, OGK Kabuto (Osaka Grip MFG. Co., Ltd.) is a well-known helmet completing with Shoei and Arai across the Japanese continent.

OGK RT-33R Flow and RT-33R Carbon are the models to adapt the MIPS Brain Protection System designed to reduce rotational motion transferred to the brain from crash impact to the head. It has a SAF-W Shield which enables to carry both replace shield and wide vision. A high standard lightweight helmet with both ECE and MFJ standards. The helmet is excellent stable at high-speed and cornerings because of it’s aerodynamic design.

Because of it’s new and improved technology, the OGK Kabuto MIPS (Multi-directional Impact Protection System) model can reduce the risk of concussions. In fact, most of those known and leading brands in the motorcycle helmet industry such as Shoei, Shark, AGV, Arai, and Schuberth do not use MIPS in their helmet product. OGK is more focusing on head protection, high technology, inner durability and the quality of the product rather than the outer appearance of the helmet.

OGK Kabuto started way back in 1948 as a manufacturer of plastic and rubber accessories for bicycles. After a long 26years of success, the company ventures and start to develop a new helmet for a motorcycle in 1974 since the industry of motorcycle is booming on that generation. In 1983 they develop the teardrop-shaped helmet and worn in the LA Olympics resulting in a Bronze medal.
